Target Field HVAC Spiral Pipe and Ductwork Supplier
Opened in 2010, Target Field became the downtown home of the Twins after they played nearly three decades indoors at Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome. We provided the spiral pipe and ductwork for the ballpark and surrounding structures, which was designed to support up to 40,000 fans for baseball games, concerts and other functions. Target Field was completed ahead of schedule, came in $2 million under budget and it achieved LEED Silver Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. That’s the kind of efficiency we were proud to have a part in.
U.S. Bank Stadium Custom HVAC Ductwork Supplier
Built to replace the Metrodome, U.S. Bank Stadium opened in 2016 and has 1.75 million square feet of space with a seating capacity of up to 72,000. With its large, translucent roof and movable front glass doors, the Vikings’ home provides an outdoor stadium experience while keeping everything inside. Sheet Metal Connectors supported its construction by supplying the ductwork for the stadium, including for the upper bowl which consists of 2,500 feet of 84-inch spiral duct. This project presented unique challenges for the design and installation teams, allowing us to showcase our customization, fabrication and problem-solving skills. Solutions we supplied include custom wagon wheel reinforcements, access doors, E-Z Flanges, companion rings, register taps, grilles and drum diffusers.
