Damper With Connecting Rods

Sheet Metal Connectors is proud to distribute and sell Standard Metal Products dampers and louvers.

Many dampers over 48″ wide are made in sections linked together with the use of connecting rods. The first picture shown indicates how the two dampers will ship from the factory. The left damper will have a control rod on the left and the right damper will have a connecting rod on the left. The taller the damper, the more connecting rods there will be.

Description

The second image shows the connecting rod from the right damper section connecting to the blade of the left damper section. The 2-1/2″ pin on the left section can be thrown away, as it won’t be needed anymore. For taller dampers, there may be more connecting rods to attach.
